“Walk With Me”
Immersive Soundscape

A meditative Soundscape

I was approached by Marc J Francis of Speak-it films to explore the adaptation of the soundtrack of “Walk with me” an award winning documentary about life at Plum Village and it’s founder, Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh.
The project involved taking assets from the existing soundtrack and finding a way to combine them to create a meditative experience in sound and like all worthwhile projects it was a challenge to find the best way to combine the components .
After several iterations and distillations we reached a version that weaves natural location sounds, Benedict Cumberbatches narration, Thich Nhat Hahns’ teachings and some beautiful renditions of Buddhist chants to create deep experience in sound.Working on this project not only informed me of the different ways we receive and process sound , it exposed me to the teachings of one of the worlds most revered spiritual leaders.
