I limped to Australia seeking a change and randomly met a wise man who helped me re-frame the experience . What at first  seemed like pride driven folly revealed itself as a unique insight into the usefulness of working with boundaries, the reality of corporate power struggles, the relationship between limitation and creativity and the wisdom of developing a deep sense of awareness in all that one does .

Necessity being the step mother of

re- invention

I took a short sabbatical volunteering at an environmental centre and after exploring some job options I found work with Kaleidio Communication Design in Melbourne .

KALEIDIO gave me experience working with major public sector organisations including the Australian Government.

I learned about the challenges of  public messaging and gained an understanding of decision making processes in scenarios with multiple stakeholders.

In Australia and New Zealand I learned about social and biological permaculture, plant consciousness and systems thinking

which led me to explore  "the ecology of mind ".               ( Gregory/Nora Bateson ).

A way of embracing complexity, chaos and interdependence and a healthy header for an approach to coaching and mentorship which seeks to imitate nature and view our thinking and our relationships as an ecology .

I re-discovered music through song

and renewed my love of playing and singing music inspired by a project with gifted singer Aarti Jadu who showed me that a universe of love can live inside one note  and that in all meaningful exchanges both parties are teacher and student, giver and receiver.

" Leap !...

and the net will appear "

a quote by John Burroughs from Julia Camerons' book 'The Artists Way" has become the tag for my coaching practice.

A statement of faith and a commitment to keep on trying things because everything we learn is distilled sum from our mistakes, errors, mis-judgements and hiccups. The shadow teaches us the most.

Leap has no fixed pattern or approach because each situation is unique .The commitment is explore ways to build awareness and perspective and encourage healthy growth and change where needed or wanted .
